Why did OMG acquire BrightStores?
As we mentioned, BrightStores is a market leader in Company Stores for distributors, with more than twenty three years of experience serving the market. Our expertise in Promo and Company Stores complements OrderMyGear’s Online pop-up stores. What we are really looking forward to is our shared vision to be the best online store provider in the market! Together, we will have more opportunities to better serve YOU! Access to tools and resources to grow sales online will greatly increase due to our Companies coming together, and we will be able to provide Online Stores for every type of Client or program.
How will your interactions with Employees & Leadership change?
Good news! There will be no immediate changes to the OrderMyGear and BrightStores teams and how you interact with them at this point in time. Dan Halama, the founder and CEO of BrightStores, will join the OrderMyGear board, where he’ll partner with founder Kent McKeaigg, Executive Chairman Dave Dutch, and SGE leadership to provide strategic guidance as we continue to grow this business moving forward.
How will my service be impacted? Does this change who I contact for help?
We know our Support Team is absolutely amazing, and lucky for you there will be no immediate changes to your service! This means you can continue reaching out to the same OrderMyGear and BrightStores team members you do today for any assistance or questions.
Will there be a change in pricing?
There will be no immediate changes to pricing for stores on the OrderMyGear or BrightStores platform. If this changes in the future, you will be notified promptly.
What can I expect at the 2023 PPAI Expo?
Great question! You can find all of the information here, but we’ll give you the short recap now. BrightStores and OrderMyGear will absolutely be working together at the upcoming Expo. We each will have our individual booths this year, but they are just a short walk to one another. We highly encourage you to check them both out for a demo of both our Solutions as well as some fun giveaways!

Will I automatically get access to OrderMyGear if I currently use BrightStores or vice versa? Do I have to move my stores over to another platform?
There will be no immediate changes regarding the way our individual Store platforms work. The ultimate vision is to bring together the best of the OrderMyGear and BrightStores platforms to provide one solution where you can create online stores for every type of customer and program. However, this has not been implemented yet. You will be able to continue using your Stores as you normally would, but please do not hesitate to contact either BrightStores or OrderMyGear for a demo or their respective platforms!
