Tech Team – Ask The Experts!

Posted on November 16, 2021 by Erika West

Our superstar Tech Team are masters at understanding every piece of the request or problem at hand and solving it in the most efficient way possible. In this blog, our Senior Technical Support Specialist, Akhil, walks us through what kind of projects the Tech Team works on, RFP’s, and much more important information!

What projects does the Tech Team take on?

Akhil: The Tech Team takes on advanced technical projects such as: SSOs (SAML, Google SSO, and JSON Token), cXML & OCI Punchouts, Bright Sites/BOP API support, and RFP (request for proposal) support.

What is an RFP?

Akhil: This is a document provided by the end user client which includes questions pertaining to the business and security of the Bright Sites or BOP Platform and the Distributor. It can also contain questions on how the store will be set up.

When do you get involved with RFP’s and what is your role?

Akhil: If our standard RFP documentation doesn’t cover the distributor’s client requirements Tech Team can step in to help answer those more complicated questions.

How does the Tech Team support BrighStores API’s?

Akhil: If a programmer working with the distributor, or the distributor’s client, has questions pertaining to our API documentation, troubleshooting incorrect API queries, or reviewing a potential “API flow”, they can contact us through our Tech Team inbox and we’ll work with them to setup a meeting or respond to their questions.

From RFP’s, API’s, BrightSites Support, and so much more, our Tech Team is busy problem solving and actively maintaining the integrity of our platforms. With the most secure systems in the industry, you can focus on what’s important to you and your Client and continue building and launching beautiful Simple or Company Stores. Leave the rest to us!
