NEW Feature: Bright Sites Time Zone Support
Setting up Time Zones that coordinate with the shoppers local time is so beneficial! Before this exciting new feature, the time zone defaulted to “America/Denver” (Mountain Time). Now, you can set the Time Zone for your admin account and user accounts. The process is simple.
Setting Up Time Zones
Once you have logged into your profile in the Admin area, it is very straightforward. You will click Time Zones from the list of options, and then save your preferences. Now the Time Zones will be in the users local standard time. Orders and notes within the account will reflect this change.
Setting Up Time Zones For Users
To manually set up a time zone for a user within the store, you will need to navigate to the Users & Groups section. Then click the edit or pencil icon next to the specific account you are editing and select the correct time zone for the store.
Setting Up Time Zones For Multiple Users
If many of your clients are in the same time zones, then setting them up for multiple users for various items is a great option! There are two options to set up time zones for many users at once. When adding new users, you can mass upload the time zones at that point. You can also do a mass update for already existing users.
Please keep in mind that when clients self register, their time zones will automatically register as their computers’ already existing time zone. New users who are created by distributors or admin users will automatically be set in Mountain Standard Time. Learn more about Time Zone Set Up and Support here.
