This year our team expanded from 13 to a sweet 16.
- – Anna Groman came on board in January of 2017 as a Front End Developer & Designer,
- – Megan Reberry was hired around March of 2017 as our Marketing Coordinator, and
- – Laurie Rohan joined the BrightStores family in June as part of the Support & Onboarding team.
As a small company with big ambitions, we take hiring seriously and after multiple interviews, these three ladies passed with flying colors. We couldn’t be happier with our new team members and want to give you a chance to get to know your Company Store Experts. That way next time you give us a call, you can put a face to the friendly voice on the other end.
Meet our New Team Members
Below are a few segments from our New Team Member Q&A sessions. If you would like to read the full interview, scroll to the bottom of this post and click on the team member you would like to learn more about.
How would you describe your day job to a child?
Anna: I help make websites look the way they do. I change the colors, images, and layout to look like what the client needs.
Laurie: I help people use their computers to build stores so people shop online.
Megan: It’s like second grade all day long but even more fun. I get to be creative, read, write and hang out with some incredibly talented people.
Using only three words, how would you describe working at BrightStores?
Anna: Community, innovative, solution-centered
Laurie: Fun – Challenging – Lucky (to have found Bright Stores)
Megan: Exciting, Challenging, Rewarding
What is the coolest thing you’re working on right now?
Anna: I’ve been going through some of our more custom sites in an attempt to group together different design aspects we can use as a future theme.
Laurie: I’ve been training to onboard our new clients which includes store building and training, which I’m really excited about. I’m also testing the software we’re releasing for our next deployment which I find very fun – it’s kind of like trying to solve a mystery, looking for clues and when you find a bug – woohoo!
Megan: We just finished our new Distributor Sales Tools and now we’re wrapping up our new product booklet for the upcoming tradeshows. I’m new to print, as my career up to now has been mostly digital, so this has been a fun adventure.
